Nick graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours: Class I). He is a lover of all sports with particular interest and passion for football and Cricket. Nick has been fortunate enough to travel overseas with sport, playing and visiting the UK and New Zealand with football, and South Africa and Sri Lanka with cricket. He has provided Physiotherapy for a variety of sporting events including cycling, hockey and for various Brisbane football clubs and the Barcelona academy. Prior to Groove Health, Nick has had experience at the Gold Coast University Hospital, PA Hospital and in the community with Blue Care.
Nick is passionate about all forms of exercise and is committed in motivating and helping people be the best version of themselves. In his downtime Nick enjoys spending time in the outdoors going hiking and swimming at the beach.
Tracey believes in empowering her patients to self manage and will work with them to reach their goals, reduce pain and maintain their health.
Tracey graduated from University of Queensland with Masters of Physiotherapy studies in early 2009 and has a Bachelor of Science, Exercise Sports Science. She has over 7 years experience working with the Australian Defence Force, from acute injury management to full return to high level gym programs and return to work. While able to work on all areas, Tracey has a keen interest in lower limb, shoulders, Thoracic spine and low back injuries, chronic pain, pre and post-surgery and Clinical Pilates. Tracey sees the body as a whole and believes in its ability to adapt. Tracey sees Clinical Pilates as a movement based classification and treatment program that can provide better results than the traditional exercise approach to chronic conditions.
In her spare time Tracey enjoys spending time with her family, yoga and skydiving as much as time allows.
As an accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist Toni is passionate about movement as medicine. She see’s movement as the key to maintaining and regaining health and wellbeing. She has a keen interest in Pilates, musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiac rehabilitation and chronic disease prevention and management.
Toni completed a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Queensland (UQ) and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at the Australian Catholic University (ACU) she also holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy. Toni has worked as a tutor at ACU in the exercise and sports science undergraduate in the subjects of biomechanics and exercise physiology, and also taught Cert IV and Diploma of remedial massage at Q Academy for 8 years.
Toni has worked at Blue Care, Ipswich Heart Health, Mates 4 Mates and Bodyrehab.
In her spare time Toni enjoys hiking, bush walks with the dogs, dancing, Pilates and including active social catch ups with friends.
Toni is a current member of ANTA and ESSA.
Jesse graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011. He has worked extensively with both Men’s and Women’s Queensland State Hockey Teams and the Queensland Academy of Sport’s Elite Hockey Program since 2012. He has also worked with Villanova College’s first XV rugby team from 2012-2017. Jesse has completed Dry Needling, Level 1 Sports Physiotherapy (APA), and ASCA Strength and Conditioning for Physiotherapists (Level 1) professional development courses.
Jesse has interests in treating lower limb, hip, and groin injuries. He also enjoys expanding his knowledge in the field of strength and conditioning and feels it plays a large role not only in the performance of the athlete, but also in their injury resilience. He enjoys playing basketball in his own time, and dedicates a lot of time to strength and conditioning and injury prevention, not only to keep himself on the court, but to also learn and expand his knowledge and experiences as a physiotherapist.

Alex graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), and has a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. His ability to actively listen to client’s concerns and injuries allows him to develop a client-centred rehabilitation management plan specifically tailored and individualised to each client.
Alex keeps the rehabilitation goals of each client at the forefront of his practice, and understands the importance of functional and pain-free movement in athletic and non-athletic populations. With over fourteen years’ baseball experience, Alex has first-hand experience with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries giving him a greater understanding of the physical and psychological processes of the presenting injuries of his clients.
Peter learned to appreciate the power the human body has to recover, its ability to come back stronger following his own sporting injuries. This firsthand experience set him on a path to help empower others to gain control of their health problems and injuries in order to do the things they love and lead a fulfilling life.Peter graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Masters of Physiotherapy which he started following his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Wollongong. During this time he had the pleasure to work with a variety of Aussie Rules, Rugby Union and Soccer teams in and around Sydney.
Peter’s strong passion for cycling has seen him previously work within the fitness industry providing workouts and training plans for road cyclists across a range of abilities. His passion for cycling has crossed over to physiotherapy and he has a keen interest in treating and setting up cyclists and their bikes to get the best out of their riding.
If Peter is not riding during his time off, he’ll likely be spending time with his family and friends exploring Brisbane and its coast lines after relocating from Sydney in 2019.
Stella has been utilising her amazing people and management skills at Groove Health since 2018. Stella was managing multiple dental surgeries, when an injury lead her to Groove, and now she keeps the physio’s in line.
Stella completed a diploma of Practice Management with the University of New England in 2016. She prides herself on looking to improve both the staff and patient experience during their time at Groove Health.
In her spare time, Stella likes to spend time with her children Lucia and Romeo, and husband Daniel.
