Podiatrists are allied health professionals who diagnose, treat, manage and prevent acute and chronic issues of the foot, ankle and lower limb. Chronic conditions managed and treated by podiatrists include osteoarthritis and the diabetic foot. Podiatrists also treat conditions of the skin (corns, calluses, warts, and fungal infections) and toe nails (ingrown, infection, trauma). Other conditions that a podiatrist may treat include bunions, hammer toes, heel pain, stress fractures and tendonitis around the foot and ankle.

Podiatrists will address biomechanical issues in the foot and ankle with or thoses or advice on footwear.

At Groove Health Podiatry is serviced via Queensland Foot Centre’s expert podiatrist, Janet Bartlett. Podiatry is available on a Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning and afternoon.
